Interviews are nerve racking!

So amongst other things I've been up to such as projects, portfolios and being hungover I have been prepping for Uni interviews!

My second one is tomorrow EEK

My first interview was last Wednesday, at Nottingham Trent, which was actually the only uni I didn't visit! When I got there I loved it. I loved the city, the campus, the tutors and the facilities! So now my decision has been made even harder, uh-oh.

Anyway I was terrified but really needn't have been. There were no weird unexpected questions and the tutors were lovely to me, I only wish they'd said what they thought of my portfolio but that'd be giving their game away... Here are some of the kinds of questions they asked me in case anybody is having troubles with interviews too.

What made you choose Nottingham?
Why Textiles?
Are there any designers that inspire you, who are they and why?
What magazines do you read?
What are you most interested in within Textiles and why?
Can you draw from both photographs and real life?
What will you gain from being on this course?

And there were some more, but again, all fairly basic questions. Not like one I heard a previous student was asked... "IF you could save any member of girls aloud who would it be and why?"

Yeah right. I'm sorry WHAT!? What do Girls Aloud have to do with Textiles. NIL.

Anyway I HOPE that was helpful to someone out there
